New Bed Again...

Ok so we decided that we didn't like the bunk beds we bought last summer. Now we are trying a trundle bed. It is a full on top and twin under. Mason gets the top. T loves it as does Mason. He is so funny. He has to have 4 or 5 pillows and 4 blankets. Here are a few pictures. I will get some more soon once we get the room the way we want it.

And of course that daddy always has to lay in bed with his boys.

Loving Each Other

How cute are they. T loves to cuddle by Mason.

More Swimming

The boys love it when we can go swimming at the hotel. We are spending a few days in Grand Rapids because Mason has some major appointments. Today we were so proud of him. During his visit with the psychologist Mason tested great. When we were here 1 year ago Mason only tested at the age of 19 months for his cognitive. Well today he tested at 5 yrs and 1 month old. So technically he is only 1 month behind. YEAH MASON!!! The psychologist was so impressed that he kept going with the test beyond Mason's time limit. He just wanted to see how far her could go and how much he could do because he was so excited. Now tomorrow we are having the growth hormone testing.

18 Months Old

Our dear Trenton turned 18 months old earlier this week. He is 22 lbs and 31.5 inches tall with a big head. LOL. He is right on track and doing what average 18 month olds do. He is very smart. Always watching and learning. He is very helpful and really loves helping Mason. He has one huge weakness.... He is addicted to his "papa". Oh yes he has papa wrapped around his finger like a hundred times. As soon as my dad walks in he runs to get his shoes and jacket and expects to go with papa. And usually he does. Papa lets him get away with everything. He has a handful of words and some that we have no clue what he is saying. His new thing is to laugh really hard with a wide open mouth and as he is doing that he quints his eyes to see you. It is so funny.

Wii-ing for Pizza...

T is all Wii-ed out.

Ok so we had a little bet and Shaun lost so he had to buy the Pizza. We tried the"All Natural" from the Pizza Hut..... I mean from "unka da'id pizza hut" as Mason says. Wasn't bad. We liked it.

So then after that Joe and Shaun

decided that they would see who get get the most strikes in bowling while having a child on their shoulders. They woiuld trade off between the boys. They both did get strikes but I am not sure who won. The boys loved it. Oh and yes we are FINALLY taking our tree down. It is officially in the front yard. In our defense.... we haven't been home that much and when we are we didn't feel like doing it.

Fun in the WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some pictures of the boys playing in the pool in Grand Rapids on Friday
night as well as a few in the motel. They had lots of fun. When T first saw the pool all he could say was WOW..

Happy New Year!!!!

My party animals. They had their party hats and noise makers. So glad neither one knows how to use the noise maker.

T just starting liking to watch movies on Mason's portable player.

Hanging in the gator.

Mama I can't see you. Silly T. You aren't pasta.
So we say GOOD-BYE to 2008 and HELLO to 2009........... So much has happened in the course of a year. We have had many ups and downs. Our boys are growing so fast and continue to amaze us in so many ways. Mason is still overcoming his challenges. His speech has improved so much. He is still a little tease. Trenton is a quick learner also. When he has his mind set on something watch out. It really bothers me at times when I learn and realize all the things that I missed out on with Mason. It;s just the silly simple things of life. I love when T follows me around the house just repeating over and over Mama Mama Mama. Mason can do that now too. I of course would never change anything about Mason just feel sad sometimes. This may not make any sense as I am tired and have had a very emotional week.
Some of you may or may not know this but we are trying to add on to our family and aren't having any luck yet. We have had 3 failed cycles. Mason wants so bad to have a baby. He has even taken it upon himself to be more involved in T's care. He tries changing his diaper, washes him in the tub and it's so cute. He even asked Santa for a sister, granted he also asked for a gun.:) So we will see what happens.
We had lots of medical stuff going on this past year with my dad and Joe's mom.
We need a bigger house. So we have put in an offer on 6ish acres. Our closing is the end of January. It is on the north part of town. We have the house all planned out and when the snow is gone I hope we can get cracking.
Our business is so glad the price of fuel has gone down and we are still hauling away.
The lease is up on the Hummer this year, not sure what we will get next. I mean come on what tops a cool looking Hummer??? It was fun to have, everyone knew it was me. Well I wish you all a HAPPY, HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!!!
.....and welcome 2009
